Sunset Marina And Resort

Originally built in the 1940s, Sunset Marina and Resort offer visitors to Middle Tennessee a quiet getaway and full-service marina on Dale Hollow Lake, just two hours from Fall Creek Falls State Park. The current marina was rebuilt in the 1990s after a fire destroyed everything. On the premises are cabins from one bedroom on up to five bedroom executive cottages. Included with all cottages are full-equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms, sitting areas, dining areas, all linens, heating/air, cable television, internet, and picnic tables with charcoal grills. All cabins are within three hundred feet of the water.

A fish-cleaning station is located at the docks for guests’ convenience. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the cabins. Houseboat rentals are also available at Sunset Marina and Resort. Three houseboats, ranging three to six bedrooms, are available. All the houseboats are equipped with everything a guest could want and are stocked with linens and a full kitchen. Also available for rent are a variety of pontoon boats, canoes and paddle boats. Sunset Restaurant is a floating restaurant and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Featuring the finest local and Southern cuisine in the area, everyone in the family is sure to find something on their expansive menu. From the restaurant, guests can view a gorgeous sunset or whittle away the hours talking over a few drinks. Sunset Marina and Resort was built out of love for the beauty of the Cumberland Plateau. Today visitors are invited to enjoy all the wonder and beauty of Dale Hollow Lake by staying in one of the cabins, houseboats or just spending a day relaxing with the family on a pontoon boat.
