Originally built in the 1940s, Sunset Marina and Resort offers a quiet getaway and full-service marina on Dale Hollow Lake. Located just two hours from Fall Creek Falls State Park, this destination is perfect for a peaceful retreat. The current marina was rebuilt in the 1990s after a fire destroyed the original structures.
On the premises, you’ll find cabins ranging from one bedroom to five-bedroom executive cottages. All cottages include fully-equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms, sitting areas, dining areas, all linens, heating/air, cable television, internet, and picnic tables with charcoal grills. All cabins are within three hundred feet of the water.
A fish-cleaning station is conveniently located at the docks for guests. Pets are not allowed in the cabins. Houseboat rentals are available at Sunset Marina and Resort, with three houseboats ranging from three to six bedrooms. Each houseboat is fully equipped and stocked with linens and a full kitchen. Additionally, a variety of pontoon boats, canoes, and paddle boats are available for rent.
The Sunset Restaurant is a floating restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Featuring the finest local and Southern cuisine, the expansive menu offers something for everyone. Guests can enjoy a gorgeous sunset or spend hours talking over drinks at the restaurant.
