Beans Creek Winery

Wine enthusiasts will attest that middle Tennessee offers magnificent locally grown wine. A favorite activity for those visiting Fall Creek Falls State Park is to explore some of the local wineries located nearby.

One such destination is Beans Creek Winery in Manchester, Tennessee, home to an impressive wine list.

Thirty years after making his first wine, Tom Brown, along with his wife and some childhood friends opened the doors to Bean Creek Winery. Committed to producing quality Tennessee wines, they purchase their grapes from nearby vineyards creating a vast array of wines from the sweet Muscadine to the Tennessee Cabernet, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Blanc and Ruby Cabernet.

Beans Creek Winery has been the recipient of several prestigious awards including the Double Gold at the International Eastern Wine Festival for their Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (2007), Double Gold at the Fingerlakes International Wine Competition for the Tennessee Traminette (2008), and Concordance Gold by Wines of the South for the Syrah Reserve 2005 (2009).

Their wines are available for purchase across the state of Tennessee as well as at the winery where wine tasting is available Monday through Saturday 10am till 6pm (7pm Friday and Saturday). On Sundays, the winery is open 1pm to 5pm. Visitors also can shop in the gift shop which offers all things wine along with crafts and gifts made from local artists. During the summer months the winery offers free music on the lawn every Saturday evening. Visitors are invited to bring their lawn chairs, blankets, a picnic dinner, and come relax to some of Tennessee’s best musicians while enjoying a bottle of Beans Creek Wine.
