Coon Creek Falls

Coon Creek Falls is a Seasonal waterfall dropping 250 feet into Fall Creek Gorge. This waterfall is only present during wet seasons, however it presence is quite spectacular as it shares a drop basin with Fall Creek Falls.

While Coon Creek Falls is less known than the neighboring Fall Creek Falls, when it is running, it adds a spectacular addition to the already extraordinary scenery. Indeed, the 250 foot drop of the lower volume Coon Creek Falls, creates a picture that is difficult to replicate anywhere in the world. For your best chance to see Coon Creek Falls, visit the Park shortly after a rainfall, or if you are lucky enough to catch a nice rainfall while you are already at the park, simply plan your normal Fall Creek Falls hike the day after. One thing is for sure, if you are blessed to see both falls running, you are unlikely to forget the experience.
