Fall Creek Falls Golf Course

If you are looking for one of the great golfing opportunities in the Fall Creek Falls area, you can stay right in the park. Fall Creek Falls State Park is home to one of Tennessee’s finest public golf courses. In 1984, 1988, and 1990, the course was named one of the top public courses to play in the nation by Golf Digest magazine.

The Fall Creek Falls Golf Course, designed by the renowned Joe Lee, was specifically intended to integrate the natural beauty of the Fall Creek Falls Park into the course design. The course is a harmonious blend of the park’s rolling hills, dense forests, and abundant wildlife, creating a visually stunning and enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The challenging layout ensures that each game is both stimulating and rewarding. The course plays from 4417 yards at the red tees to 6669 yards at the blue tees. This 71 par course is thoughtfully designed to provide enjoyable play for golfers at all handicap levels. While water hazards are not a significant factor at the Fall Creek Falls Course, players will find that the course offers its own unique challenges.

However, bunkers are a major factor in the play at the Fall Creek Falls Golf Course. A total of 71 bunkers are intricately woven throughout the course, with most strategically located to protect the pin. These bunkers not only add to the course’s aesthetic appeal but also present an enjoyable challenge for players. It’s advisable to work on your sand game before tackling this course. The longest hole stretches to 544 yards from the white tees, and the course features four par 5’s, each offering a unique set of challenges and opportunities.

The course is further enhanced by the presence of an on-site pro, Frank Christopher, a Certified PGA Professional who is available for lessons. His expertise and guidance can be invaluable, especially for those looking to improve their game. However, it’s recommended to plan in advance for lessons. Additional amenities include a snack bar, a well-stocked pro shop, cart rental options (including both pull carts and riding carts), club rental, a driving range, and a practice green. These facilities ensure that every golfer’s needs are met, making for a convenient and enjoyable golfing experience. Tee times are required and can be easily arranged (Click below)!
