Located within one of the Southeast’s most popular state parks, Fall Creek Falls Restaurant offers home-made Southern cooking at its best to visitors year round.  Fall Creek Falls State Park, located in Pikeville, Tennessee, just a short drive north of Chattanooga, is a destination for nature enthusiast the world over.

Fall Creek Falls Restaurant can be found inside the Fall Creek Falls Inn, located inside the state park.  With seating up to two-hundred-and-twenty it’s almost guaranteed there will be room for hungry visitors.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served buffet-style and in the true Southern spirit – lots of it!  Visitors can get their fill of biscuits and gravy, fried chicken, barbeque (the way it’s supposed to be), and all the sides anyone would expect on the table at Sunday dinner.

During the peak season hours are 6:30 am to 9 pm.  The restaurant closes at 8pm during the off-season.  Friday nights are a special treat with a seafood buffet. After a satisfying meal, visitors can explore the many wonders of Fall Creek Falls State Park.  Hosting the longest waterfall in the state, this state park was the recipient of the Southern Living Reader’s Choice Award, an impressive honor.

Also available at the park are swimming pools, horseback riding, and extraordinary fishing at the state park’s own lake.  Whether a meal at Fall Creek Falls Restaurant begins a day of exploring some of the Cumberland Plateau’s many unique wonders, or ends a day spent fishing and swimming, one thing is for sure – guests will have one of the best meals the South can offer.  Those planning a trip to Fall Creek Falls State Park should definitely put a meal, or two, or three, on the agenda of things not to miss while on vacation.  For a full menu click here.  For the weekend buffet menu, click here.

The restaurant is a requirement to visit. The food is the best, especially the chicken and dumplings.
