A whole network of streams, creeks, and gorges are interconnected by cascades and waterfalls including the eponymous Falls Creek Falls which are the highest in the Eastern United States. With a huge man-made lake, Falls Creek Falls Park is an outdoor sports playground whether Mother Nature’s bounty is incomparable.
Whether you are a leisure cyclist or a serious mountain biker looking for some heavy duty training what better place to do to it than in these sublime surroundings? Falls Creek Falls Park offers three miles of paved bike trails and 15 miles of mountain bike trails classed as moderately difficult. With the four bike trails connecting the main attractions and providing access to reach the outlook points, biking is a beautifully leisurely way to get about Falls Creek Park. There are two mountain bike trails with side trips for the more adventurous rider.
Bikes can be rented at the Taft Village during the summer and maps of the trails and directions can be obtained at any of the Park administration sites or from the Nature Center.
